Mount Eliza – Wimborne Avenue – Walk-in Wardrobe
Walk-in wardrobe dreams😍
Wimborne Avenue, Mount Eliza
How awesome is this custom master robe?
This is what dreams are made of- clever shoe storage, long & short hanging space, open shelving, drawers… what a transformation!
What was the brief:
▪️Design a robe that looks & feels good
▪️Customise cabinetry to the suit clients lifestyle
▪️Clever storage for functionality
Duration: 2 weeks
Budget: $15K
Room: Walk-in master robe
What was the design starting point?
▪️Assess the existing wardrobe, see how the clients were using it, & identify what was needed to solve problems
▪️During consultation with our clients we established what type of storage they preferred, and how they would like to store their clothing on a day to day basis. From there we precisely measured how much storage they needed each, & designed the perfect robe for them using some clever innovative storage solutions
▪️The colours were to match the master bathroom and flow of the house
What was it like before?
▪️There was literally only hanging storage and one top shelf – everything was on the floor or jammed in somewhere.
▪️There was no organisation at all – it definitely didn’t work for shoe lovers!
What exactly did you do in the robe?
▪️Ripped the entire robe out
Installed a sliding cavity door to add space
▪️Re-plastered the walls and ceiling
▪️Installed the custom cabinetry and storage solutions
▪️Updated the lighting
What challenges did you work around?
▪️This part of the project was straight forward and went exactly as planned
What highlights make it so special?
▪️The pull-out shoe racks are awesome and are always on our list of recommended inclusions!
▪️It’s hard to go past timber cabinetry like this, it is stunning
We are so happy of our clients who absolutely love their new master robe, they are beautiful people. This robe married in the bedroom with their gorgeous master ensuite that has the blue tiled feature wall with the skylight are what dreams are made of.
